What a surprise we received yesterday! Four of our indoor carrots popped up from the soil. I decided to supplement the light source with a small grow light. Hoping to keep these guys happy and green.

We have finally begun some indoor plantings for our farm and for home. Mesclun was started several weeks ago and is just about ready for harvest. Spinach, cilantro, leeks, and pansies started 2 weeks ago and have begun forming their “true” leaves. Planted 1/2 of a new flat yesterday of alpine strawberries, leeks, spinach, dill, peas, and nasturtiums. After listening to Garden Guys we were inspired to try planting carrots indoors. If all goes well we should be able to start harvesting them at the end of April.
